Sauna RFQ Template: Compare Quotations on the Same Basis

Build a consistent sauna request for quotation with product identity, specification, inclusions, packing, trade terms and evidence requirements.

A request for quotation is easier to compare when every supplier receives the same fields. The template below keeps product identity, technical choices, packing and commercial terms separate so an unanswered item remains visible.

Identify the product and application

Record the product link, SKU, full model name, category, intended use, destination market and requested quantity. Because a SKU can appear on more than one size in the supplied catalogue, include dimensions or the complete product link as well.

Create a technical specification block

List room length, width and height, material preference, heater type, rated power, voltage, frequency, phase and control requirements. Use “to be confirmed” for missing source fields. Do not copy a value from another model without evidence.

Create an inclusions and options block

Ask the quotation to separate standard accessories, required options and excluded items. Include lighting, controls, audio, bucket, spoon, thermometer, exterior protection or other equipment only where relevant to the selected model.

Create a packing and logistics block

Request package dimensions, carton count, net weight, gross weight, total volume and applicable container quantities. State the destination and requested trade basis. The supplied catalogue terms say FOB Ningbo mainly; the final quotation must state the basis that applies.

Create a commercial terms block

Request unit price, currency, MOQ, production timing, payment term, quotation validity and any local LCL charge. The supplied workbook records MOQ one for populated rows, 40% T/T deposit, balance against a copy of the bill of lading, typical production of 25–30 days and one-month validity. Reconfirm each item for the actual order.

Create a document checklist

If the destination requires a certificate, report, manual or marking, name the specific requirement. Ask for current product-specific evidence. Avoid accepting a general badge as proof for every model or destination.

Keep the final comparison traceable

Compare quotations line by line and flag every blank or substituted value. Send the completed request on WhatsApp, then retain the final written specification and quotation as the approved commercial record.
